Events Program in Venice announced!
Dear guggies,
We're thrilled to have received such an overwhelming response to our events program during the opening week of the 57th Venice Art Biennale! We're happy to announce two new additions: a tour of the German Pavilion and a social event at the legendary Corner Pub!
Friday May 12th, 11am: Tour by artist Salvatore Arancio of his work in the Arsenale.
Friday May 12th, 3pm: Tour of the Command-Alternative-Escape exhibition led by Jaspal Birdi (PGC alumna 2011).
Saturday May 13th, 12pm: Tour by artists Mariechen Danz and Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa of their work in the Arsenale.
Saturday May 13th, 4pm: Tour of the exhibition "Personal Structures" organized by Global Art Affairs, led by Lucia Pedrana (PGC alumna 2011).
Saturday May 13th, 8:30pm-11pm: Happy Spritz at Corner Pub! Come and reminisce about the old times at the PGC and connect with old and new guggies! Two drinks and cicchetti for only €10*.
Sunday May 14th, 12pm: Tour of the German Pavilion led by Ameli Klein (PGC alumna 2015).
Sunday May 14th, 3pm: Tour of his solo show at the Museo Correr by artist Roger de Montebello (PGC alumnus 1983).

- ‘Research Pavilion' Opening: 10th of May, 2017 Program: 6pm Opening -7pm Finnish electro jazz pioneers RinneRadio - 8pm Goguette!
'CC-ByeByeBaby!' presents 'Goguette!' karaoke party for the Research Pavilion's opening night. Borrowing its name from the dissident singing societies of 19th century; Goguette! features popular songs with tongue in cheek appropriation of lyrics. Everybody is welcome to join! (Free entrance).
'CC-ByeByeBaby!' (http://societybaby.info/) the audio-visual installation by Andrea Coyotzi Borja (PGC alumna) and Sinem Kayacan is a mini karaoke club, built under the roof of Sala del Camino for the inaugural exhibition of Research Pavilion (researchpavilion.fi). The installation will be on display together with 10 other works by artist-researchers from Northern Europe.
